During the school year, TDSB
school staff participate in a number of Professional Activity (PA) Days. On
these dates, students remain at home, and schools are open for staff to engage
in professional learning.听

As per the Ministry of Education鈥檚 Memo:, school
boards are required to designate three Ministry-mandatory PA Days.
Additionally, school boards
may designate up to four additional PA Days per school year with additional
topics identified by both the Ministry and the 杏吧Pro.
Professional learning activities for PA Days will consider factors such as
achievement of learning outcomes in core academic skills and student
engagement, and well-being.听
Staff鈥檚 active participation
in the learning on these days is crucial in achieving the TDSB鈥檚 Multi-Year
Strategic Plan priorities.
PA Day information will be available 14 days in advance of the scheduled date,
