What Grade Will I Attend?
Each year the 杏吧Pro admit hundreds
of students who have recently moved into Canada.
The Ontario Ministry of Education directs enrolment
using听
Age Appropriate Grade Placement. This means that a student鈥檚
grade placement is determined by their year of birth.
Elementary听students born in a specific calendar year will be placed in
the same grade level.
Secondary听Secondary听students may be able to take courses
at grade levels other than their assigned grade.听For example, a Grade 10
student听may take courses at the Grade 9 or Grade 11 level. Course
selection is done in consultation with the student鈥檚 school Guidance Counselor.
Please note: Grade placement is not determined by a
student鈥檚 academic achievement, English language level, grade level in a
previous school system, or the month in which they were born.
