The TDSB EcoSchools program, in collaboration with (SCAN), host FREE online and in-person professional learning events from September to June each year to support teachers’ professional learning in Climate Change Education. A wide range of topics related to environmental learning and Climate Change Education are on offer to educators and staff from the TDSB, other school boards, community organizations, and members of the public. Many online events are recorded and shared on the TDSB EcoSchools .

Plugged In: Growing Energy Literacy in Education Webinar

Wednesday, September 24, 2025 4-5pm ET

Science communicator and researcher, Larkin Mosscrop, will define energy literacy across the curriculum and explore practical ways to engage learners. By grounding abstract concepts in students' lived experiences, we can spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and empower the next generation to make informed energy choices.
