Applications to the Middle French Immersion programÌýmay be submitted, on behalf ofÌýstudents in the English program, the year the child is in Grade 3 for entry in September of Grade 4. The entry point to Middle French Immersion is Grade 4. Currently, eligible applicants were born in 2017,Ìýresiding in the City of Toronto.

An application must be submitted for each child, including twins/triplets/multiples. There will beÌýanÌýopportunity on the applicationÌýto indicate if there is a sibling atÌýthe same school in the same program (not in a graduating year).Ìý
Offers of placement will be ongoing throughout the weeks and months following the close of the application period. Please check your email regularly, including junk mail and spamÌýfolders, and follow all instructions. You must take action to reserve a seatÌýby the deadline.
While every effort will be made to seatÌýstudents in the school identified as their area French Immersion school, this is not always possible. In cases where the number of applications in a given area is greater than the number of allotted program spaces in the school,Ìýstudents may be redirected to schools with available program space.
Placements are made based on the child's primary home address of record in PowerSchool prior to the application deadline. If theÌýaddress changes between the application deadline and the fall of the entryÌýyear, there isÌýno guarantee of admissionÌýin theÌýnew area.
Late applicants will be held on a local school waitlist and consideredÌýsubject to available space until the end of September of the entry year (i.e., Grade 4). There are no waitlists in non-entry years.
